Update, drafts and edits, and how things are going
Hello everyone!
Sorry that it has taken so long to post an update for this. Writing has been a bit difficult to get done due to mental health issues and things may be slower due to changes to my shift schedule at my job. However, I am still making progress and want to have the second draft finished by the end of September.
Currently, I am working on the second draft of module (a copy of which I have included in the update). It is very barebones at the moment as most of it is just headings for where I want to put certain things, but I am planning on filling in those blanks with updated and edited versions of descriptions, clues, better explanations, and notes for the narrator so it will be easier to run and (hopefully) consistent in formatting. There will be some changes in the second draft, but most of them will be in editing and removing some clues that do not add anything and the adding in of new clues and information. The core story is staying the same, but there will be more things fleshed out in how everything in the core story went down.
Probably the biggest change in the second draft though is in regards to ticks, as I have doubled the amount of ticks per day. This will hopefully make it much easier for characters to be able to explore locations in this large house without taking up all of their time, but it also means I'll be able to include in more opportunities for tick based consequences.
That's all I have to say for now, thank you all for being so patient. I also want to thank everyone who has played this game and supported it through the months. I am sorry for how rough it is and I hope to make it better and easier to run over time. For now, I'll see you later!
